    I am Kidney patient and under Psephologist at AINU Hyderabad. Pl advice whether I can use Amla in any form for blood deficiency ?. Doctor is suggesting some medicine and injection to improve hg.

    My usual way of consuming Amla is in the form of chutney together with ginger and a bit of jeera and salt to taste.I keep it refrigerator and make only that much which will last for a week.Does this concoction still gives the same benefits as a fresh fruit.

      Hi Rajeev Amla is a rich source of vitamin C which is highly bioavailable in nature so the moment you expose it to a blender most of its benefits are not available to the body and hence the best way is to have amla as a fruit or best is you can have a freshly made chutney or juice.
