Sagging cheeks? No more worries. Follow these simple exercises to lift up sagging cheeks

Sagging of the cheeks and face are part of life’s natural progression. These things happen to every human being, whether men or women. As we advance in years, our cheeks gradually sag due to lack of collagen and elastin in the skin.

Men do not bother so much about such phenomenon, but women are very much concerned about it. They don’t want sagging cheeks, but with an increase of age the skin, fat reduces, and jawline begins to drop, and eventually, skin starts sagging.

But it is also seen that skin of many women does not start sagging early and for some women, it starts sagging quickly. There can be many reasons for such early sagging cheeks. Let us see some of those reasons.

What Is The Correct Usage Of Smartphones Or Other Such Devices?

You must be wondering how the usage of a smartphone can be a reason for sagging of facial skin, but that’s true. If you are using your phone very often, then you might need to bend your head down to stare at your phone.

And if you are doing it for a long period, then gravitational pull increases on the jowl area, leading to sagging of the cheeks. So if you need to protect your skin, then do not spend too much time staring at your phone by dropping your head.

Continuous Facial Expressions

Facial Expressions

Gravity does a lot to harm your skin, especially when age is in progression. And if you make facial expressions constantly for a long period then it may result on sagging of the cheeks.

This may happen because when you give expression, then you stretch your face, and if you are doing it again and again then it may result in sagging of the cheeks

No Consumption Of Fats

Many women completely avoid consumption of fat, especially fast foods. But that can also lead to dropping of jowls. This is because of the fact that some fatty acids are essential for our skin.

We need some essential fatty acids like omega-3s and omega-6s for our skin because they act as building blocks of a healthy cell membrane.

Hormonal Imbalance

Hormonal imbalance can be another reason for sagging of cheeks at an early age. Hormones help to produce collagen and elastin in the skin that helps to keep the skin healthy. But if there is an imbalance of hormones then this may not be possible, and skin will sag early.

you have a magnesium and potassium deficiency. Magnesium and potassium are responsible for muscles and nerves. google it . it takes about 3 months to get the tissues and cells back up to where they should be at if you consume it regularly.

Hi Joni, Thanks for sharing an important piece of knowledge, you right when you say that magnesium and potassium is responsible for muscles and nerves but not entirely as even CoQ10 plays a role and collagen as well and hence we can just not depend upon these 2 minerals also they closely associated with your blood pressure regulation and hence overdue of them can cause serious health concerns. Yes once can check with health care professional and include these supplements as a part of treatment.
